Losing a Fat Tummy and Toning Your Body

Losing a fat tummy, your bingo wings or getting ripped abs is not just a matter of following a diet and weight loss exercises program it is important that it be targeted to your needs.
It is a common statement that most of us make "I just want to lose weight". That's fine and you will find that losing weight can be achieved very quickly. I would say that almost everyone who has been on a diet will have lost weight after the first week, sadly it doesn't continue perhaps because the person either loses interest, finds the regime too difficult or is with the wrong program.

What if instead of saying you wanted to lose weight you were more specific that you wanted to lose a fat tummy well your food and drink plan would be similar to many others but I would suggest that certain exercises be concentrated on firming up your tummy and surrounding area.
If instead you wanted to lose the flab at the back of your arms you would look to tone up these muscles as well as focusing on your diet.
Most of us are impatient and want instant results, do you say you want to lose weight fast well steady on because it isn't advisable to lose too much weight too quickly, you will find this rapid weight loss can be debilitating and will leave you tired and listless. This is quite the opposite of what you need to achieve, yes lose weight, but stay healthy.


To begin any weight loss regime there is one clear route for you to begin with. Studies show that our bodies are clogged with toxins so before you begin any fat loss program a detox will give you the best possible start. Cleanse your mind, body and spirit and your body will respond by burning off the fat more efficiently. A detox can be simply a change of lifestyle, cut down on your food consumption, drink more water and get into the exercise habit. More exercise will improve your sleep patterns which will reduce your stress levels. This will all set up your body for your fat loss and body toning regime.
I have come across recommendations for colon cleansers but it is not something with which I am comfortable. I believe better results can be obtained through proper food control, good exercise and the right weight loss program for each individual. Maybe they work but my advice is to avoid them.
So where do you go for your tailored weight loss plan, well if you follow the steps above, and keep to them, you will have achieved some fat loss and your body will be more toned. For most people that will be enough but you must keep at it, you must be disciplined and dedicated else you will fail. Sorry but these are the hard facts of life.
